The Visitor-Part 2My eyes gradually open to reveal what appears to be my brain’s fuzzy interpretation of a stunningly decorated room.  
 
“What is this place?”   
 I try to lift my body to get a better view but a sharp and unrelenting pain in my left side accompanies my effort. I let out a piercing scream as my body falls back down. Slowly, I lift the sheets of the bed only to find my stomach bandaged and bloody.   
“Oh Lord, what the hells goin on?”   
Overcome with agony and confusion I try frantically to collect my thoughts.

The Visitor-Part 1           It’s 2018. I’m in Philadelphia. More specifically, I’m under a table in my house curled up in the fetal position. My hands are placed firmly over my ears. Even through them, I hear the gunshots, and the screaming. The evacuation siren sounds. But no one leaves their homes. There’s no place to evacuate to. For all the chaos here; its heaven compared to places like New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. That’s all that’s left. Little pieces of hell separated by barren earth. How did we let it get this bad?          The Visitor-Part 1

Lazy Sunday Morning

Stephen is enjoying a fairly bland Sunday morning. I suppose everything is fine. Although I did get a piece of popcorn stuck in between my teeth. I've been trying to get it out for the past 3 hours but it won't budge. That is very irritating. I think my leg just fell asleep also. But who needs circulation? Am I right? I should also start reading The Grapes of Wrath. Leave it up to me to pick a 600 page novel to do an English project on. But maybe it might help me with my writing and punctuation and all that jazz. Ummmmmmm. That's it!
